Software2 User Day – most successful yet!

Software2 were very excited about the most recent user group meeting held at the University of Surrey on the 5th July. With over 30 attendees this was most successful user group to date.

The agenda was also our fullest yet. Talks from Surrey on their staff role out and plans for ‘bring your own device’ (BYOD), a demonstration of the innovative use of WIKI pages by Glamorgan University in their packaging process, as well as a presentation from Avecto of Privilege Guard, all provided interesting talking points for the users. And to top everything off, presentations from our very own Ryan Heath about the changes (driven by our UK education customer base) in the latest exciting release of Application Jukebox, and a demonstration of Software2’s new Support Portal, really made for a truly ground breaking event.

We'd like to thank the University of Surrey for hosting the event and all the speakers for contributing to the day. With many more universities and colleges close to moving ahead with the technology we’ll certainly need a bigger room next time!

Thanks to all who attended and we look forward to the next user day where we will continue to drive collaboration between our customers and invite other exciting Software vendors to listen to the community about licensing and how they can help you.
